Adaptive Self-Leadership through Minding the Positive

In today’s constantly changing and uncertain environment, leaders face a great challenge in taking the right decisions, as well as doing the right moves. Apart from traditional leadership, one is compelled to adapt with what’s in the environment and keep up with the changes -sometimes follow the change, sometimes make the change, and sometimes be the change! To achieve one’s goals, especially in these unprecedented times, one needs to prepare and empower herself and her team with the magical skills of resilience, adaptiveness, agility, and positivity. 
The content of this program:  
 Adaptive self-leadership:
• Leadership and self-leadership
• Basis of self-leadership -self-regulation/management component of EQ
• Characteristics of adaptive leaders
• Resilience, agility and adaptiveness
 Self-Regulation: 
• Resources and means of power leaders use (Abundance vs. Scarcity)
• General mechanisms in decision-making and behavior (Cognitive & Emotional Processes; Amygdala hijack; Negativity bias vs. Mind the Positive)
• Adaptive and resilient mechanism in decision-making and behavior (Awareness process)
 Practicing tools to develop adaptive self-leadership skills. Two steps: 
• Focusing
• Adapting:
o Gain clarity
o Broaden perspectives
o Generate resources
At the end of this program the audience will explore and develop adaptive self-leadership skills, acquiring various tools and techniques, through theoretical and experiential learning. The program consists of two main components: (1) understanding the theoretical basis of self-leadership, the specificities of adaptiveness and resilience, and the various mechanisms behind human behavior; and (2) exploring and practicing the tools for developing resilience and agility in the regulation of emotions, thoughts and behavior.
